Job Done...

Yesterday was my last day in CPG... I think my efforts had been paid off...
My first and last tender was completed, ok it was 99% only because i gotta ask others to help me reprint the tender documents today because of wrong footer used duh... The other thing is I had gained good reputations among the people there, one mentioned: Despite going off but u still ensure that everything goes well... the other: u did well, as a fresh grad u as u managed to complete a tender within 1 month... *shy*

Just thinking could it be some console remarks because u are going off, wait till they dig up things that i had missed out, they will start to curse man...

I also found out how valuable my name was yesterday... It was like a dream come true... Signing my name on the tender documents and drawings, well thats the part they make u the scapegoat... Designers requesting my signature to claim their well deserved time off for working OT for this project... I felt like a STAR... woot!

Anyway was happy that i was able to see my old friends there and make some new friends as well. Overall the experience was good, but i am even happier that i left ho ho ho... More importantly with my head held high...

Back to jobless life now...

12.30p.m.--- attended my polytechnic malay friend's wedding, just congratulated him, hardly talk and he left to receive his bride happily... Wish u well for u future...

15.00p.m.--- went home...

15.30p.m.--- went to Vevocity, the new shopping center around my area for the first time since its opening in late oct to meet my brother who came from HK to visit his old sec school but too bad its been demolished haha...

19.00p.m.--- its where all the fun starts! KTV for 4 hours with my old sec school mates... We started with Eason's mini concert and ended with Jacky Cheung oldies... i got to sing for at least 3 hours haha!!! (sorry that they gotta suffer for most of the time!) Scream to my heart content but my throat not contented at all... grr.. couldn't speak for an hour or so after tat... gr...

00:00p.m.--- soccer: Man Utd 1 - chelsea 1... Man U too slack liao and chelsea got lucky... Battery low liao almost fell asleep...

Week 2

Week 2 in CPG... Still cheonging the tender i was supposed to do... But before i finished, i sort of got involved in 2 other projects.. One is on Sentosa bungalows and the other one is a uni in Cambodia..

Sounds interesting... BUT! its not fun to OT from mon - fri and even sat! Gosh! Somemore no OT pay grrrr.... no food claims... only got after 10 transport claim...

HUH!? Am i complaining?! Do it and u will understand how i feel bah...

My first job...

Wee... My first day of work started on the 30th Oct with CPG Corporation M&E Department... I was asked to take over a project immediately on day 1... My job was to prepare tender specs and look through and understand the design (done by previous eng) and ask the designers to draft them...
Sounds easy huh but while u were trying to look at the designs, architect come and disturb u for this and others come and disturb u for that... Some more gotta ask and understand how to design a system so that u are sure the current designs are right... Tender specs also gotta change which is quite tedious also... wha so much things! I must prove myself i can do it... though its hard... Anyway i asked for this job one mah...

Just hoped that everything can be done in time bah... And i won't kena much scoldings... gr...

Sat's event...

Yesterday was an odd day, while on my way to Sim Lim wha met my primary school mate as well as my secondary school mate... While looking for stuff for Jeff and Grant, saw 2 other secondary school mate... While buying DVD R, saw my understudy... Whao saw 5 known ppl, i have known in less then 3 hrs... What a small world it is...

Anyway went for a late nite movie last night, The Banquet... Didn't know much about that show and only know that it is starred by Daniel Wu and Zhang Ziyi..

Joke of the day: when the movie started then i got to know that it was a chinese movie, what the!?
Best thing i learnt about that movie...

Question: Whats more poisonous than the most poisonous poison in the world?

Anyway its was really a good movie haha, at the most serious or most exciting part there will always be some serious and sacarstic jokes...

Been a few days since i last "blogged"... nothing much happend and i had been slacking this few days. (Sorry lah T.S, i am really too free liao... Thanks for u DVDs also...) yeah just settle my sis pc yesterday, got the newly purchased gpu changed. Glad that despite the heatsink not really mounted properly (check all the new stocks, all the same bad mounting...), the gpu work perfectly. (heng i dun wanna go down SLS anymore lah... too much temptations because i felt like spending on new toys again... bus fare expensive $2.10 to and fro... GR!)

Anyway the com is working ok (dun clash can liao pls...) but my own com now got problem cannot detect cpu fan speed though the fan is turning a few thousand rpm... (shrugged dun care as long i can use the pc...)

Also been watching an old hk tv serial since last nite at 12 out of 20 i already watched 15 liao till now (no fast forwarding unlike some ppl...), not bad ya i think i am going to break my record by finishing it within 2 days haha~

Interestingly one of today's episode was great, well the male lead was trying to woo the female lead whom he decided to leave 3 years ago thinking that the female used him as a substitute to anger her ex-bf whom she broke up with (just a misunderstanding...).

But the truth was the female lead was really in love with the male lead. Well the male lead was rejected because the female lead told him, u used ur brain (because he suspected her) and not ur heart to like or love or even trust her which caused her to suffer alot...

This story makes me wonder again did i used my brain (a dumb one... Maybe nia!) or my heart to like someone??? May be i should be "blind".

Birth...

Yes... Officially Cat Y today... Hope to put whatever that is unhappy away for today (hoped i can...)

Was pleased last nite that my Sis give me a treat at a restaurant and bought me a cake. (Also bought me my graduation gift, so sweet..)


Started my day with Manchester United soccer match at 12 mid night which Man U won 1-0 against Tottemham. (ho ho ho...) Slept 6 hours and had a badminton session with my cousins... Ok lah right arm and right thigh a bit pain nia only a bit... Come back played winning eleven with my cousin then koonz...

Night went out for a can of Baron 500ml with Ting Soon --->beer siao (haha...) ... The beer is just a bit too strong for me, shessshh... Oh Yah thanks for the satay beans too...

Jinga...

Haiz... another nite of "fishing" managed to get some photos of Jinga again...
But Dino stole my almond and went hiding again... what a brat... gr! i will get him some day....

2 new members to my family....

First i will like to present one of the 2 new members to my family... A one year old plus chinchilla named Jinga...
Managed to get a couple of shots with my 50mm f1.8 lens at f2.
Need a big aperture because these little creatures are so fast and the lighting of the room is quite bad... Anyway i am satisfied with wat i captured ho ho ho...

A Trip to Hong Kong...

Yeahhh... So fortunate... Happy that i was able to be on a short trip to Hong Kong to visit my Brother (my closest friend since sec school), a person who had so much influence in my life... Glad to see him again (Esp the part him gaining weight haha... well this shows that he is having a good life, well fed...)

Well happy that things have been going on smoothly for him... Also prayed that things will be even better for him...

This trip was really what i needed... he reminded me wats most important to me that i had missed out and had also learnt to look at things at different perspective to make urself feel more comfortable (though i had not really applied that skill shhheeessshhh)...

Well the sadest part of the trip for me was... i still had my cough when i visited him (GR!!!) Cant go to KTV to sing and Pub to drink with him sob sob...
The sadest part of the trip for him was he gotta accompany me to those "sad" places to take photographs, haha!! (really appreciate for wat he did... sob sob...)

But still we are glad and hope that there are more opportunities to meet up...

Yesh its one week holidays from now onwards... Just completed my FEA assignment, its one of the worst piece of work i have ever did in my 2 and half years in UNSW... As for my thesis... another problem... just got to find out tat the things i have done is totally wrong.... i gotta re-run all my models again with the right inputs :(, my supervisor was telling me, Gene u are running out of time... I guessed its time for me to wake up from my holiday and "ord" mood... if not i might end up with no honours at all....

Well i do pick up something a week ago where Jeff helped me with one of the photography assignment... Sports photography... here are the outcomes after 1-2hrs under the hot sun...

Rose, Rose I Love U

Yes... a new post because i have more photos to show... I have managed to grab myself some close up macro filters from COFA (College of Fine Arts) and a stalk of rose for 3 dollars from Randwick (first time ever i bought a rose but not for courting gals)...

Before the photos, Rose Incident....

I was on my way back to my hostel, I held the rose in my hand as i dun wanna stuff it in my haversack and damaged it ($3 leh)... On the way back, quite a few ppl stare at me, from the way they looked at me i can sense that they are saying for galfriend right, geez hated tat feeling... but luckily back at my college no one saw me with tat rose or else gossip will go spreading around...

Finally, here are the photos taken with the combination of Nikon 50mm/f1.8 and the zha ba lang macro filters (got alot of different brands Hoya etc)...

Yes, alot of set up to do for macro photography... Buti think its worth it... Will do another one in the next couple of days before my rose wither... Needa earn back the 3 bucks in some ways, haha... Stay Tuned!

hmmm.. its a long time since i have last posted... Well life in IH has been so far so good thou... In this session, i have taken a general elective: Black and White Photography. The course teaches u to develop from films to negatives and from negatives to photographs. Last week i am done with the negatives and just yesterday i have finally printed my first ever bw photograph :). Here are the results of my hardwork after spending a few hours in the darkroom...
